...standing up for peace...

i stand vigil outside the post office, a candle clenched in my cold fist. i am 30 years younger than anyone else there, but that doesn't faze me. i have a slight, retainer-induced lisp, but my voice is clear and strong as i read the names of californians killed in this useless war. hot wax spills on my skin and i gasp. i am part of this world, and my light will not go out.

...and the kid stays in the picture...

hello.
i've probably lost my meager readership after my (long) hiatus. but you know what, i'm okay with that. i'm writing this blog for myself. so there.

i haven't been up to much recently. basically trying to pull a 9 period schedule in a 7 period school system. it's been pretty difficult, but i hope that i come out alright (the quarter ends to-day). if i do, then i can buy my italian software, start planning for my junior year in italy, and hopefully start taking ballet twice a week. which, of course, would complicate my life even more, but i'm okay with that.

big smoochy kisses,
london
