in defeat, not gratitude. so i didn't exactly participate in NaNoWriMo much...at all...but i hadn't the time, and the sorry start i threw together wasn't going anywhere fast. well, at least i did not ever get around to putting up that "participant" icon...well, nothing ventured, nothing gained, eh?
